Just saw this on efinance and wondering if anyone can confirm? Looks like Hong Kong and Singapore bankers new base comp was increased as much as 20%! What's the new base comp for analyst 1,2,3 and associate 1,2,3 now? Any Hong Kong CS bankers here to opine?

"Credit Suisse in Asia are having their pay increased by 20% on last year" -> I'm not sure if this means that the base went up by 20%? It could be referring to the yoy increase in their bonus
Good point, I skimmed the article and missed that. Hoping to see if someone from CS can confirm if they are above market or at market now.
Spoke to juniors in an APAC office (IBD) - they weren't that happy, and appeared down on a couple of years ago. That may be a case of certain groups and/or being in a lower bucket. That being said, people didn't seem over the moon.

Definitely not true for analysts across the board. I know of one particular office where several 2nd year analysts got $40k bonuses.
