So just wanted to make a few quick announcements about the latest changes to WSO...
1. # of entries for Company Reviews, Interview Insights and Compensation Data is now viewable before clicking into a tab...so if there are is no comp data for a specific company, no need to click on the tab. You can see what it looks like in the attached image to this blog post (example, Goldman).
2. We are now collecting additional information with every submission to the database including schools, majors, GPA, race, whether you were a varsity athlete or not, etc....While this data won't be publicly tied to any one particualr piece of content, in aggregate it should help us to create some cool analysis of comp across many different sub-segements...
I wanted to thank all of you for your contributions to the WSO Company Database. It is now approaching 10,000 entries and with each submission it just gets more and more valuable.
As part of our thanks, we will soon be releasing a massive report called the 2013 WSO Compensation Report (free) to those that are willing to help us keep building this valuable resource.
