Company-Provided Self-Study Courses Used for Evaluation?
I'm about to start my summer analyst stint, and have been required to do those self-study courses (Training the Street, Wall Street Prep, etc.) before my start date. Are the exam scores from the associated courses used in any way for evaluation before my internship starts?
This is somewhat likely. For us, AMT held an in-person training while we were on the job, and in this case the test results were definitely checked by our more senior managers. Nobody scored that low though, so I'm not sure if there would have been significant repercussions to somebody that had not done well on it.
