My friend's uncle is on the advisory board of a BB. I've spoken with him before but didn't speciically ask for help with getting an internship. He was also the former head of financial services for another BB - currently retired and now a professor, but he obviously has some contacts. He's on another board with the vice chairman of IB for a GS/MS/JP for example. Where should I start and how far could I stretch him with help or contacts.. he seems too executive and not involved these days.

Since hes a excetuive, he should have pull, if he is good friends with IB vice chariman, he can def pull ur resume..Maybe your uncle can introduce to people in IB or even people up in HR.. Your uncle IMO should have pull.
