I go to a non-target and am trying to get my foot in the door. Anyone who can help me out, please PM me email addresses of HR people that I could send my resume to. I'll take whatever I can get. Thank you so much!
and i'd be shocked if they did, just go to each banks website and their should be an HR phone number or contact. Or just call up the switchboard and asked to be put through to recruiting.
most switchboards wont put you through unless you have a name to get in touch with
Toy around with google. Various things like "citigroup recruiting" "citigroup HR" "cornell recruiting" "investment banking recruiting".
I toyed around with this stuff last year for internships, and things definitely turned up and led me places.
I myself and a few other people I know got numerous interviews doing this. make a list of places you want to work and familiarize yourself with google. its worth it.
honestly try to tap your almuni network, im from a non target and even though our alumni are few.. they are usually very willing to help.
have a good story of why ibanking and you are on your way.
you will find most people won't give you direct contacts because 1.) they don't know you 2.) you mess up their reputation is on the line
I do agree that people who are actually working at banks probably would be wary of sending me hr info from their banks. I guess this was more directed towards seniors who already have their jobs locked down, as they could send me everyone they emailed in search of a job (other than the place they accepted at) with impunity. Come on guys, help me out here..
