Coronavirus/Networking

It seems like the market is taking a 360 turn, and some people who I have emailed/"networking" are not having it while some are receptive to it. Given that many elite boutiques and MM banks are doing interviews in 2 months or so or the unclear timeline on recruitment moving forward, what would you do? Thinking about waiting a week, but can't keep waiting.

Yup people are just dealing with a lot of crap currently, at best just follow up with people you've already networked with but don't really do more. Maybe when things settle down - ie people are fully quarantined just like in italy then you can reach out and get some people on the phone. I'd assume that the recruiting timeline will also be pushed a bit later than usual.

I used to always make that 360 mistake, cost my reputation dearly until I figured it out

would you rather be clever or intelligent?
