Am interested in pursuing corp banking but am deadset on living in LA for the majority of my career. Any banks have large corp banking operations in LA? BB? Assuming its just Wells tbh.

I was under the assumption that none of the banks have true Corporate Banking teams in LA (as in under the CIB umbrella like JPM/BofA/Citi), and roles are more commercial banking than anything.
Would be very pleased to be wrong on that.
California in general, would expect some regional groups. LA specifically, I’d be very surprised. CB coverage typically not niche enough to warrant an office or coverage solely in LA unless happens to be a one-off MD.
