Corporate Banking (IB) Canada Compensation 2021 All Levels
Hi All,
Would be good to get an update on compensation for Corporate Banking in Canada at all levels for 2021 as we've seen some bumps in bases on the IB side recently - wondering if this has transferred to corporate bankers as well that are housed under the investment banking arm of their bank. Specifically interested in Big 5 Canadian Banks based in Toronto.
Does the industry group make a difference for total comp e.g. if you're in a top/high deal flow group on the street do you get a higher bonus as a corporate banker then people in other groups?
