Corporate Banking in the UK, how does it work?
Currently a corporate banker in NY and my job entails a lot of traveling especially at the senior level. Given that America is so big MDs say pre COVID they were never with their families for more than a few times a week as they were always on a plane.
In the UK, is there as much travel around given its much smaller than America and most trips will take 2 hours at most. Or do they make you go to Eastern Europe a lot.
Also would be curious to know how much MDs make in corporate banking. I have never gotten a straight answer on this site and I don’t get why no one gives estimates, they just stop at VP when giving comp.
