Corporate Credit Cards
Do IBD analysts typically get a corporate amex or other cc? I know one of my friends at a boutique has one and im just wondering how common this is?

When you're travelling they want you to use a monitored credit card to make your purchases (food, etc.) so there's more of a paper trail with expensing them back to the client. Corporate credit cards just make things easier for the admins. It's not like "hey kid, go buy yourself a new gas grill!"
I had a corporate Amex when I was in banking. Just makes it easier to track things. I also got to keep all the points for myself, which was awesome.
