Corzine Granted Waiver from FINRA
Finra granted Corzine a waiver on exams
The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority Inc. gave former MF Global Inc. chief executive Jon Corzine a waiver on Series 24 and Series 7 exams when he returned to the financial sector to head the firm in March 2010. The agency did, however, make Mr. Corzine take a Limited Futures, or Series 32, exam.
What say ye? Is it a joke to ask a former CEO of Goldman Sachs to sit for the exams or should he get in line and study up like everyone else?
Apparently, Corzine is a joke. Don't know about the exams though. Maybe he might have gotten a refresher course in the section titled, "Not tanking your company."
not like if he took the exams, he wouldn't have crashed and burned anyway, so what diff does it make
but if he'd failed the exams he wouldn't have been in charge of the company so it couldn't have tanked in the first place lol.
