Cover Letter

I am applying to a role at a bulge bracket in the Healthcare division. However, I have not had the opportunity to network with anyone in the healthcare division there. I have spoken to others at the bank, but they are not in the healthcare division. For reference, the job posting was listed last Tuesday (11/04)

Should I:

  1. Network and then list names in the cover letter, further delaying my application
  2. Submit my application using the names of those who work at the bank but not in Healthcare
  3. Submit my application with no names and just speak to why I am trying to lateral in after my summer internship (where I secured a return) instead
