Coverage midtier BB to M&A or Tech

Looking for some advice here. As mentioned in the title, I'm currently a 2nd year coverage associate (Class 2020) at mid-tier BB. My group is a specialized group (think of FIG/RE/O&G) and I would want to pivot to a more generalized group. My goal is be in M&A or Tech (either west coast or NYC). Many headhunters have been reaching out for a ton of lateral positions on LinkedIn and many are with highly regarded EBs. I wonder if I move now, will I get "postponed" a year for the VP promotion, especially given I move from a different coverage group. Secondly, will I forgo the bonus for past 8 months? Given the record volume and insane hours our group has put in, I'd expect a $150k bonus if not more. Thank you.
