Crash course training

Does anyone know a good place that I can literally begin training for banking (excel modeling, etc) as early as monday with no notice?

I had something "go live" here and they are concerned with my lack of true corporate finance experience (i was in PWM)

Training the Street seems to offer courses only as soon as come December...anyone know of anything where i can begin sooner?

Please help! Time is of the essence.

A few questions/assumptions

I assume you are entering IBD as an anlyst? If so wouldn't your initial training program more than suffice? Are you transferring within your bank or are you going to a boutique (where training is limited)?

If I were you I would do the following:

1) I would purchase the Scoop Books - Guide to Investment Banking (rush delivery) 2) Go to Damdodaran's NYU website and delve through his basic finance and LBO models

If you spend enough time with both resources you should have no trouble learning what you need.

Also, since when do you need a corporate finance background to get a job in IBD? Again, I guess you are transferring within your bank or going to a boutique because a finance background is not a pre-req for IBD. Good luck
