Maybe you could be affected because the bank might win less mandates, so you will do a lot of pitching but close less deals. Bonus might also be lower
In a product group at CS and will A2A this summer. I haven’t been staffed into a live project since February and the prior ones are either dead or not active. I literally don’t know how the bank can pay us and am concerned about RIF. Every single person in my class left except for me, and a few ppl in the class below me also left already or are actively recruiting.

I wouldn’t sweat it. I’m not going to lie that CS is at its prime (it obviously isn’t). The team is currently trying to revamp senior staff / hire more rainmakers. But you will still get reps, and a lot of my analyst class places extremely well across UMM / MF.
