Credit Suisse Group Insights

Hi folks,

I'm a first year MBA at one of CS's core schools but not necessarily a powerhouse finance program and am interviewing for summer associate positions in January. I've really enjoyed getting to meet the people at CS and have definitely made great headway with them over the last few months, especially their M&A group. I'm curious to hear the opinions of people who have worked in the industry as to the reputation of CS's M&A group or any insights folks could offer.

Thanks

Their summer associate recruiting and offers are group specific. We haven't interviewed yet but that's the group I'm zeroed in on and I've been told by current alums in the group that I'm on their short list. My interviews will almost certainly be with people from the M&A group since that's the group I've identified as my #1 choice, but the interviews don't take place until the 2nd week of January.
