question is for people seeking employment, currently employed, etc.
Wanted to guage the hiring activity on the current wall street job market. for me, restructuring has slowed down for me (prepacks, ch 11, etc.) and has been more focused amendments, guarantees, some refi work but thats usually allocated to the balance sheet banks.
i've heard that hiring has picked up across the street but wanted to see by just how much..any insight?
Coming from a semi target it seemed to pick back up some this year.
e.g. GS came to campus this year, they didn't last year.
it did for FT. a lot people at my semi target got jobs at different banks when they couldnt secure a summer internship last year
i guess we're still far and away from 2005/2006 levels.
