Current State "Under Consideration", meaning and expectations (JPMorgan)

About 2 weeks ago I did the first round interview with JPM for an Off-Cycle program starting in January. My app status was "Under Consideration" after the interview and appears as updated on the 1st October but still "Under Consideration". What should I expect? Is it acceptable if I contact them?

I'm also stuck at "Under Consideration" for FT 2020 IB, I'm assuming that's a rejection at this point. I'm going to reach out to a recruiter end of this week.

Spanish people are already in Superdays for the off-cycle in almost all banks (excluding 2), so the headcount will be over soon (maybe there are some spots left for november, but it will be the out of the norm)

I mean, there is usually a national headcount for London based positions, both for Spanish speaking people or french people for example. This doesnt mean that the job post is asking you to speak spanish, it only means that they are looking to have people speaking every language so they can connect better with clients or with country coverage teams.

So assuming you are spanish they would be counting you for the spanish headcount, thats the way it works. This means that in some AC there will be people from just some countries, and this happens when they have already finished with the headcounts of the rest of the nationalities / native language. (Be careful as excepcional candidates may be still considered even if headcount is already over, but it usually work this way)
