“Staying in finance” is broad.
Are you interested in private equity, if so take pe. If you think you want to do banking long term take cvp
Comp won’t differ too much so depends on what u want
"Best" outcome is based on your personal preference. Do you want to do PE or IB
Also, who tf knows they want to stay in finance? I see students say this all the time until they actually hit the desk for a few months and hate their lives
.
If you’re able to get the MF PE offer out of school, then that’s the answer relative to banking.
.
I don’t anyone who’s turned down a MF PE role for CVP. It’s exceptionally rare to turn them down for IB (I know one who did for BX/PJT RX). I also know of a couple who did it for HFs. Generally people driven enough to get those seats are willing to bet on the higher upside paths.
People turn down CVP for GS/MS/EVR often. I doubt anyone has ever turned down BX for CVP
.
All the interns at top EBs immediately realize banking sucks and recruit for MFs for FT.
.
Going to a non CVP EB. Would probably take them over BX, but that’s just me. I’m super into RX and don’t care much about investing.
Why'd you delete your post pussy
