Does anyone have any advice for any students who may not have made it onto any SA positions? For example, I'm using LinkedIn to contact Chief Exec's of small firms but then when they look at my LinkedIn page, I get no reply because I don't have any relevant experience apart from non-related part time work I've done as a student which I guess looks unprofessional. What should I aim towards over summer if I have nothing in terms of experience opportunities to help boost my CV/Resume? Sit the CFA Investment Foundations Certificate? Do some volunteer work? Teach me some modelling etc?
