Go to the best school you get in (provided you can afford it). If you're at an Ivy, you'll be fine when it comes to recruiting.

I saw it first hand this past summer - one of the interns wasn’t even in the official process. Cold emailed one of the most senior people at the firm, expressed interest, and got it lol.

Alumni aside, Dartmouth essentially holds students’ hands through recruiting. I think you’re required to spend one of your summers on campus or something - and then for junior summer they invite and host top firms to campus for students to network etc

100% correct. I’ve seen multiple Dartmouth students do the co-op program they offer and land sweet internships. Ex. MS offers coop spots to Dartmouth students that I’ve seen feed into their sophomore and junior summer SAs. Also seen BofA, PE firms, etc.

Not co-ops I think. They run on trimesters and a lot of firms and funds have Dartmouth-only winter term internships (so slightly different than a co-op I guess)?

Dartmouth and Tuck are known for their alumni network. I think these days, like at other Ivies, more students prefer the buy-side/consulting/tech out of undergrad but I've seen a lot across BBs and EBs.

Someone made a post on here a few months ago but I think Dartmouth placed third best per capita among the 8 Ivies.
