DB Asia - Global Banking First Round (Mandarin Translation Test)

Hi! Want to know if the style of IBD interview is different from US...had a few phone interviews with another BB before...but it was nothing technical. In fact...they don't ask much besides the stuff on the resume. For DB first round, is it better to know cold about the Asian Financial Markets instead of the US since afterall the job is in Asia

Also, did anyone ever have to take the 15 minute Mandarin translation test either with DB or with another bank? What was the process like? Translating something random...or business related? Any way to prep for it?

Anything would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Is this interview in New York for you?I have one with DB asia but this is with the global markets division (S&T). I don't have any translation test as such. Maybe it is specific to banking.

I get one with DB GM Asia too here in new york in the end of the month..  are u a finance major? I am an engineering student, and I don't have much experience in finance except that I manage my own portfolio. Do you know how selective that 1st round in person will be?
