DB Non-Target
Anyone know what percent of DB is Non-Target? I've heard its higher than other BB's. Can any incoming/current analysts comment?

Like has anyone had any experience recruiting there as a Non-Target? Advice appreciated!
i heard it's high as well, same with RBC. Kinda ironic as there are lots of F500 internships (MBA level) that are only open to certain Top targets while for IB which is seen as more preftigious, lots of non-targets break in.

Does the fact that DB takes so many non-targets make it a bottom tier BB? Or any easier to get into?
Who gives a shit. Just work/network hard and you can get anywhere within reason.
I heard they do a lot of OCR from DeVry and University of Phoenix at DB, not sure exact %s though, sorry

If I were you, I'd focus my energy on networking and getting my foot in the door no matter what bank it is.
As for being low tier, yes, DB is lower than GS/JPM/MS of course and NO, its not because it takes non-target students - who is teaching you all this?

You are looking at this from the wrong angle. There are non-targets at every single BB out there. It is YOU who makes it happen, not the university you go to. Just because you get hard for Goldman Sachs doesn't mean DB is an "inferior" financial institution.

In my experience on the street, DB takes anyone that is willing to walk in its doors. If you can't get into DB then you better start looking for another career. This thread is useless. You should be asking about a real bank, not one that is about to crumble to the ground in our lifetime.
