DB > Moelis > UBS

DB you will be fine if you're in LevFin / Industrials / TMT.  MF exits available even for bankers in FIG / REGLL where they exited to MF / UMM shops.

Moelis still doable - seen more PC exits though given they have a decent RX team. 

UBS basically died - few ANs struggling to even land themselves in any buyside processes recently - more focused on lateraling first.
 

 

Insightful, thanks! Do you think it's better to move into a top EB/BB after 2 years and then into PE MF after that, or is it directly accessible?

Doesn't Moe look like M&A player as well?
