DCF Multiple Method or Perpetual Growth

I am working on DCF as part of a case for an interview. So far I have completed the DCF up to a perpetual growth method but I am not wondering whether I should also be doing a multiples method? I don't know if I have the resources and time to collect comparable company information so wondering if just doing a perpetual growth method is acceptable?
