Hey all...
Well I've been doing the recruitment rounds and well I reached final rounds with DCM and IBD with CIBC World Markets in Toronto.
DCM has already called me back to discuss potential work placements within the group and I should get a final response on whether or not I get the offer on Monday.
Just out of curiousity...I know DCM pays roughly the same...maybe less than IBD...and that hours tend to be better...
But what should be a fair salary in CDN $ in Toronto?

55 to 65. I got an offer an offer from TD Securities and the starting salary is 55. I would love to negotiate to bump it up to at least 60. Don't how though
Yea negotiating is tough. When you got no leverage to do so at most all I think I can ask is for some money that's tax deductible for relocation...
the big six banks all pay 55-65, global shops pay 80-90 and not sure about the boutiques
