Degree[need real help]
I'm a prospective monkey doing engineering, should I bother with a double economic or engineering degree is sufficient? Thanks.

Michael Lewis had gotten an Art History degree before going to grad school.
I know a guy who had an engineering background - but he had to get his MBA before he was able to do real banking.
If it won't kill you, I don't see how another degree wouldn't be of added value.
Then again Michael Lewis also got a job by meeting a MD's wife at a dinner at the Queen Mother's house.
As long as you keep the grades you could come from any major, it doesn't always matter as much.
Yeah Michael Lewis also went to PRINCETON and go t his MS in Economics at LSE. That always helps.
In IBD, noone gives a shit what you studied. Honestly, the work is not hard. All you need to know is how to add, subtract, and mutiply.
What you think the designation "monkey" was for shits and giggles?
Just add divide to that and you have the full numerical IB skillset.
Focus more on selling your cv than on the degree - there are plenty of people who read history or literature in IB.
good luck.
