Don't do too much they already like you, just send them updates on milestone or interesting things going on in your life...got an internship, Starting a club or researching smth but don't consistently send holiday emails.
Got it— thank u!
This applies beyond recruiting - I do this with my network, even after I landed SA and FT positions.
I’ll send a brief update email every 3-4 months, usually only a few lines (unless something big/exciting happened) that talk about anything from an interesting class to a case competition to a research project to an internship experience - just stuff that is moderately relevant and can keep me in front of them. No need to ask for a call every email.
I try to call every 6-ish months to stay in touch, but an email works well during the short recruiting phase.
I second this - I do this as well. One note I'll add: it's natural for some connections to fade over time. If I think back through the years, I can count on my hand the few cold connections I've had created/maintained that lasted 3+ years.
