If you’re at a target I don’t think it really matters. You already have IB internship secured and regardless will be taking Econ classes anyways, so don’t see the downside in philosophy with Econ minor, as long as your GPA does not suffer significantly as a result of the change.
You don’t need anything beyond intro Econ courses for IB, go learn how to think my man
