Don't be a dick, college students have to navigate exploding offers as well lol
Which would imply that you don't have expertise...would make more sense to hear from someone on the other side of the recruitment process no?
He’s saying that if college kids have navigated exploding offers, they could give you insight into what did/didn’t work. By telling them to not respond, you’re also alienating 90% of those that could give good advice. (not many professionals browsing the site) just my thoughts
how would college students who have navigated exploding offers not have any expertise in... navigating exploding offers?
Damn I have perfect advice for you but, alas, I was a college kid when I experienced having to navigate exploding offers. Oh well wish I could offer advice but you said not to post if you were a college kid, good luck OP!
By definition, you are not a college kid...this has turned into a silly exercise.
If you did a lot of networking with your alumni, definitely bring it up to your alums at the firm as opposed to going through a recruiter.
