Delayed consulting offer; seeking Fall/Winter IB Internship

Background:

I’m set to graduate from an undergrad B-School (Ross, McIntire, McDonough) in May and will be joining a T2 Consulting firm (EY-P, LEK, OW) afterward. However, my start date is delayed significantly, likely until Winter - Summer 2025 (I’ll find out a firm date late spring). In the meantime, I’d like to advance my professional profile by finding an internship or some sort of temporary employment for the Fall/Winter of 24-25. One route I’m looking at is banking.

Issue:

I have experience working at a small PE firm and all of my internships have had a financial services aspect to them + one of my undergrad majors is finance, so I could likely do well on technicals after studying. My main concern is whether my profile would be tossed out for internships as I already have signed a full time offer.

I’m not sure what opportunities exist in the states during these periods. I do know that off-cycle internships exist internationally (Toronto and London, I’ve heard) but I’m not sure if these ever go to international applicants. If anyone has any insights or if you’ve recruited for these sorts of positions yourself, please let me know! Any help is seriously appreciated.
