They are just bad and there’s no excuse when you are paid to do the job but still screw your clients. In my case, I only discovered the fucking attorney lateraled to another firm and left me hanging after I got the auto rely “Xxx is not longer with the firm”. Fucking hell!

What’s more hilarious is our hr is somehow always so supportive and understanding, to the fucking attorneys, not me.

For all the wrong gender pronouns I found in their draft, hr told me not to “accuse the competent attorneys cos it won’t help”. Imagine clients having to take care of feelings of incompetent analysts. Wtf

Your HR is also not paid enough to go about picking fights with attorneys- definitely not on your behalf sadly. Moral of the story: make sure you are on top of the paperwork & assume no one else but you are solely responsible for getting these documents across, and if it means looking bad or sounding pushy - so be it.

I anecdotally know of a case of an international analyst's H1B (not at my bank but from my school) being messed up and the bank had to, after a series of calls and discussions with HR and the Group Head, offer a slot in the London office while they waited to file the paper-work again in 8 months time. They left the bank after a year...

A Shithole called Greenberg traurig. Fragomen is like an eb among immigration shops lol, from what I heard and experienced.
