I would also recommend FT's Alphaville blog - http://ftalphaville.ft.com/
If you're still a student, I would get a full subscription to the FT or WSJ, they are $99 a year with the student discount, and I believe around $70-80 if you just get online access.
You would be surprised how much you can teach yourself just by reading the paper everyday and googling anything you don't understand.
