Seems to me like you're a better fit for trading. The derivatives field is rich in all three: numbers/math/stats. And the more complex the product (Exotics, etc) the deeper you go. In the end, derivatives boil down to probability.
You won't get any math/stats in IB. At least not to any intellectually stimulating level like you seem to be searching for.
