GSAM should offer pretty interesting analytical work, with not-terrible hours.
This is tough -- Credit is a more analogous skill set with IBD, but GSAM has the FO allure. I"m honestly not sure what the best route is. My instinct is Credit as there should be good interaction with traders and maybe bankers depending on your industry group. Good luck

Which Alternative Investment group is it within GSAM? This could determine the answer to your question because some are extremely strong and others aren't..
obviously GSAM. CRMA is a middle office support group, which offers middle office support mobility. GSAM position will allow you to move within GSAM which has a far better choice of opportunity.
Are these positions both in NY or SLC?
