Determining Analyst Performance Reviews
Given the layoffs in many groups from recent weeks, I want to ask how analyst performance is determined because it sounds like many analysts were laid off. Is it only under performers who are let go?
90% - do the MDs like your face, have your deals lukcily gone smoothly, were you in the same frat as the staffer, did you do good work for the last 4 weeks before I decided this rating, are you related to an executive
10% - Work ethic, job performance, intelligence, technical skills, perceived effort, commitment to industry
plus or minus 10% in both buckets
80-100% of my class will be underperformers with these guidelines..
Sadly, I can see us getting paid sub10k come bonus season.
