Deutsche Bank -6 hour assessment
Having gone through the aptitude and video interview stages of the Deutsche Bank summer internship, I have been emailed at 6pm saying I have until midnight to complete a 3 hour long techinal assessment. This was completely out of the blue, with no email beforehand. Is this a mistake or just a very rushed recruitment team?

Hey bro. I have received this email too. In my case it must be a mistake because I wasn’t in a process for an internship with DB.
Plus, the email says that it is for a Quant internship, and I am doing m&a so pretty sure it’s a mistake..
Same here for the corporate finance programme. Apparently everyone who applied to an internship in my uni received it, regardless of the programme they applied for. I heard people applying for both CB and IB listings received it.

Idk might do them to see how they are, doubt results will mean anything cause this must be a mistake.
I got the same despite not applying, maybe if we nail them we'll all get offers...
I also got the quant assessment despite not applying. I also got a webinar invite late last week for “reaching my potential in interviews”. Has anyone else received this or know anything about it? I’m not sure if it’s the next stage in some process or just another glitch. It also didn’t mention which of my applications it was in reference to.

Just received a mail, the three technical tests were a glitch if you didn't apply for that position.
Also received it despite not applying. Did the first test (probability questions) and then the links stopped working.
Try again, it didn’t work for me at first too but after re-clicking the links they worked. Stay safe and just do it.
Same here. Applying for the KL (Malaysia) office, completed my final interview last week. Was surprised to receive it, asked an ex banker mentoring me and she was surprised too. Did the test anyways to stay safe, everyone else should too till they say something.

The links didn’t work for me (stuck on loading screen) and i then emailed, got told if i didn’t apply it was sent in error. Was still curious about the test just for fun I guess, the links now just open to a page saying they dont exist anymore/have expired. I wonder what went down for this to go so wrong

actually know the guy who asked for it. DB hr just sent the reply email out to the whole global talent pool LMAO
Not correct – those tests were a secret pathway for recruitment of MDs & the next CEO
