Levfin is the best team there is - though their strongest juniors have recently left, leaving culture in the hands of some awful associates and seniors. But if you can get LF and you're ready to grind and grimace - go for it
Thoughts on EMEA M&A? Any sense of sentiment in the bank whether this is a decent team to join? Saw they hired a bunch of Citi seniors and looking to rebuild the franchise.
It depends - at the end of the day DB is a LevFin and financing shop but EMEA M&A would be heavy on execution so I'd say good deal flow but the calibre of deals you work will be middle market with rare mega deals
Heard Industrials is strong from deal flow, reputation and exit ops perspective
Industrials is the best team by a wide margin. Followed by TMT. Rest is dog shit
industrials is most toxic by a wide margin.
