Did Musk just corporate raid twitter

forgive me if I'm wrong but did musk actually pull of a carl icahn type corporate raid on twitter, hate him or love him, this guy always entertains, also wouldn't twitter share price go through the roof?

yeah they make like 5 billion in revenue, but to musk its probably not more so of an investment but rather actually buying power if you think about it, he cannot go purchase a newspaper like the daily mail because it would be oppressed by 1000s while twitter actually has become a huge source of news, i think a lot of poeple get their news from twitter, specially in sports, Fabrizio romano anyone?

 

Memes aside, what grounds would the board be able to reject his offer?

If he actually takes this company private, I know the next company I'll be applying to work at
