Did Not Take SAT--Should I Take It If I'm Already In College?

Question: I never took the SAT and want to start my applications for the summer of 2013. I searched the forums and read a few threads. Some say it's a waste of time and just to take the GMAT. Others say to take it anyway since it'll red-flag my application. What do you think?

My Background: I was home-schooled, graduated a bit early, and went to a community college for financial reasons. I took the ACT once, but I really didn't need to take it because the community college used a placement test. I then transferred to the state university (non-target school). I'm a senior in college majoring in finance. I only realized in March how important summer internships are and that I should have applied to an IB. I spent the summer getting some experience at a start-up community development venture capital firm. I decided to postpone my graduation by a few semesters to get another shot at summer internships, so in the mean time, I'm double-majoring in accounting. I'm starting to form my application for next summer.
