Difference between IB AN 1 and AS 1 pay (base + bonus)
Hey everyone I wanted to know what’s the average difference of pay between an IB analyst 1 & associate 1 (base+bonus) Asking this because I wanted to be sure whether to enrol for a 1 year MSF and start as an analyst or get into an MBA and start as an associate. I’m thinking to lateral to PE after a couple of years in IB and I believe the probability of getting into PE as an associate after being an IB analyst is better compared to getting into PE after being a post MBA IB associate for a couple of years. Let me know if I’m wrong.
...how are you supposed to go to MBA without work experience?...
And what kind of MSF program you think would position you well for IB? There's literally none because of how early recruiting kicks off.
Maybe you can "try" to get into IB internship first as an undergrad.
I have a couple of years work experience. There are few MSF programs which has IB recruiting.
