What qualifies as diversity in IB? Will they factor in low-income/first-gen if you have a brand name scholarship for it (i.e Posse, etc.). Will it mean they evaluate you on a different basis and not consider certain stats as heavily?

Depends where you are located. In Canada, it is women (mostly white), while in US add in Hispanic and black men too. Banks for the large part are fixated to gender diversity. Hope this explains.
