Divisions which require less math/little modeling?
Long story short, I’m not very good at math and modeling. I would like to work in an IB division that focuses on something more on the lines of an event driven side that hedge funds do, if banks even have a division similar to that.
I like developing and maintaining client relationships as well so anything social/relationship based is my thing.

Shareholder / activist advisory. All PowerPoint no modeling or excel work. On top of my head GS PJT EVR PWP all have teams within their IB division. Con Filled with tons of white ivy / target woke girls. Very small teams so might be pretty difficult but they offer SA internships

A couple friends in LMM PE who claim they rarely touch models / it's a small part of their job. Much more entrepreneurial and focussed on building relationships with mgmt teams, identifying bolt-on opps, etc. Pinch of salt though as that could be a reflection of the quiet market over the past 24 months
