Do background checks in LND include pre-university education?
Fellow monkeys,
Title says it: Do banks in LND check pre-university education in its background checks for interns? Evidently, I ask for those banks who ask for pre-uni grades in its application.
Thanks!!
I can only speak for our firm and the answer is no. UG/grad school/bs only for education.
thanks!
Did they ask for it in the application form?
yes. but the applicant is free to omit any or all of the fields. I am not even sure if all candidates will have their educational credentials verified. some degrees we have received had these new digital codes on there which you can type onto a website from their school and it shows a green tick mark if the degree is real.
the only really relevant parts are the ones regarding professional experience, references and dates around that.

Yes in my case
can't remember about intern but here in apac i was asked to be provide a comprehensive list of my last 10 years of history including all periods (to the specificity of month) education, breaks (unemployment during school breaks etc.), any employment etc.
They asked for high-school grades during my FT background check
Yes, they asked for educational history within the past 5 years (therefore includes A-Levels + even GCSEs)
Yes for my firm
Yes, this was checked before my summer internship at a BB in London. The third-party vetting team went through everything, all previous education, transcripts, courses, grades, A-Levels, GCSEs ect.
