Do EBs have an india team to do the comps / graphs / manual labor / price updates? Specifically centerview and evercore?

I know another EB doesn’t have in house India team, but can outsource some things like PIBs and profiles to India
theyre not amazing though, probably best to do it yourself for technical updates

What are the pros and cons of not having an India team?
You’re forced to be more efficient and learn more?
I have an India team, but wouldn’t feel too confident sending them anything financial related - if it’s just pressing refresh, I can do it myself. But if there are adjustments to make, I want to do it myself.
they’re probably good for things like strip profiles though or one page profiles and things like this. I guess they could look for transactions too but I’ve barely had to do any transactions or comps research, usually this is provided by MDs/EDs.
But we have a separate local presentation team and they’re quite good (even though you always have to fine tune) - the 24/7 team though isn’t the best
you have to learn how to do these things anyway though, how would you review something you can’t do ?
Managing comps is easy, they can do it better than me. I think they come in handy for things like comps, making profiles or adjusting benchmarking slides. Profiles are also annoying asf to make. Lastly, I’m at a BB and we rely on them for stupid stuff
Pros: They can take work you don't want to do, work overnight while you go to bed "earlyish"
Cons: The bank has to pay them so less $$ to you
I'm on the outside so tell me if I'm wrong, but I'd be very surprised if the amount of time you used the India team is a factor in how big your bonus is.

Lazard has an Indian team, but they are small and generalists (not group specific) - they mostly manage databases, from my knowledge.
