Do HR analysts have souls?
Ahh good 'ol HR. We all know them. We all hate them.
Interesting to think about what type of person you have to be in order to decide to go into human resources at a large financial institution. Maybe you're a blonde girl from northern New Jersey whose dad is a huge client of the bank, but you have no technical skills and majored in Dance Therapy.
I refuse to believe that HR analysts truly complete meaningful work. They are certainly not communicating with potential candidates, rather choosing to ghost people who have dedicated time and attention to their interviews.
I also refuse to believe that HR does anything to help retain current employees. As most analysts decide to leave their current sweatshop environment for greener pastures. HR might send you a mug or a branded notebook to entice you to stay with your mentally abusive MD and accept your far below average bonus.
Human Resources certainly does not provide any substance when it comes to onboarding and training. As I did not hear a single useful piece of information regarding what my role would entail from these northern New Jersey girls.
We all know their duty is to protect the company from you, and not support you in the company. This brings me to question if people in HR even have souls. Where will they go after they die? What have they contributed to the workplace? To society? Why do they all drive white C class Mercedes?
These are all difficult questions. Still gonna hookup with Jessica at the holiday party tho.
