I think the "one personality type is better than being ________" is horse shit. Of course a lot of guys who get attention in an office are loud/outspoken/flashy but some of the most successful deal guys I know are calm, reserved (to a degree), and relatively low key. The success factor isn't driven by extro/intro differentials, but rather who can capitalize on their given strengths and close a deal.
