Do you go to the meeting?
80 hrs. Crushed a deck. Do you go to the meeting?
We know the drill. Up til midnight only to wait for comments that get killed just to print for this book.
Director signs off but “Pls fix” from the VP that didn’t get promote.
The real VP, wasted: has an easy job anyways.
The real question: do you actually go to the meeting or is cave man PC slave all job we know as Jr. bankers?
I usually take the lead associate/analyst on the pitch or file. Good learning and exposure and its an opportunity they've earned by virtue of all the work they've put in. I think it's good practice.
On the strict conditions that they're listen/learn mode only.
