How often is Macabus really used? My bank doesn’t seem to use it but talked to others who say they rely on it… wanted some opinions on whether I should go out of my way to learn it/mention it to my MD to potentially help our team become more efficient.

My team and I rely on it at this point. Takes a bit to get used to, but really good customization features for personalizing shortcuts. Also, relatively inexpensive compared to everything else you'd use on a daily basis so I would highly recommend you bring it up to your MD.
Most banks only allow support for FactSet / capIq shortcuts
