Do you regret your analyst stint? Would you go back and start your career differently if you could?

With so much general negativity on this forum surrounding IB lifestyle and analysts seeming generally miserable, what do those who have made it to the other side of investment banking have to say for your time as an analyst? Was it really that bad? Would you start your career differently if you could go back? What new path would you choose? Do you regret working that hard for two years and were the end results (exits, skills gained, etc.) worth it?
